Looking for a way to incorporate sensory play and number sense?
This resource provides an excellent opportunity to practice counting, identifying numbers 1-20, tracing and forming numbers, and representing numbers using one-to-one correspondence in a hands-on way.
Play dough or manipulatives can be used to interact with the 10 frames by matching the number on each mat. Play dough can also be used to recreate the number to enhance the sensory experience.
Two versions are included to allow for differentiation. Version 1 includes the counter helper in the ten frames for support. Version 2 includes blank ten frames.
